Review by hotel critic
I recently spent a delightful pre-opening Christmas stay at the SEPHS Hotel Sittard with my family, and it truly felt like a hidden gem nestled in nature, perfectly positioned for exploring nearby Maastricht and Roermond. The spacious, air-conditioned double room was beautifully laid out, complete with a comfortable foam mattress and a lovely view of the gardens-ideal for unwinding after a day of cycling in the area. The standout feature for us was the incredibly friendly staff, who ensured our visit was both welcoming and accommodating; they even offered tours and ticket assistance, enhancing our experience. The on-site restaurant proved to be a highlight as well, serving a fantastic breakfast that fueled us for the day ahead. While there was a minor hiccup with some roof windows in our room opening and closing during the night-an issue that I'm confident will be resolved-it didn't overshadow our enjoyable stay. The festive decorations and stunning architecture of the hotel made it a cozy retreat that I would genuinely love to revisit. If you're searching for a relaxing getaway with a touch of adventure, SEPHS Hotel Sittard is not to be missed!
